Just a quick note to say all is well and that yes, I have been neglecting my blog again. We left Thursday night for a wedding in Connecticut. The wedding was great, beautiful bride, ceremony, flowers, and guests. We had a good time. Chris and Chris sang. Very touching. Anyhow, no time for a real post so here are some useless facts for my readers amusement.

  1. Abraham Lincoln's mother died when she drank the milk of a cow that grazed on poisonous snakeroot.
  2. Adolf Hitler was Time's Man of the Year for 1938.
  3. Elvis Presley was obsessed with brushing his teeth.
  4. Singer Billy Joel tried to commit suicide when he was 21 by drinking furniture polish.
  5. Singer Michael Jackson owns the rights to the South Carolina State anthem.
  6. In Singapore, it is illegal to sell or own chewing gum.
  7. In Israel, religious law forbids picking your nose on Sabbath.
  8. The "naked recreation and travel" industry has grown by 233% in the past decade.
  9. The oldest roller coaster in the world is the Leap-The-Dips roller coaster located in Lakemont Park in Pennsylvania. The roller coaster was built in 1902.
  10. There are six fictional characters that have stars on Hollywood's "Walk of Stars". Can you name them?
