Mini Rant

I took my niece to the carnival tonight. We rode the gravitron. It was $4 per person!!! Chris and Jordan rode the ferris wheel for $3 per person. We bought a funnel cake and it was $3.50, we got cotton candy it was $3 and a sno cone also $3, Chris got a milkshake, $4, and a bucket of fries that were not very good, they were $7. and two small drinks (I am talking dixie cup small) $1.50 a piece. What is up with this??? When I was a kid, my mom would give me $25 for the week and I could ride everything plus eat like a glutton. We could have went to knoebels and gotten hand stamps for two and not been afraid of dying on the rickety rides! I feel like a grumpy old woman complaining, but that is just insane!!!
