My daddy had to have angioplasty today. When they let us in to see him, the first thing he said was "Now I don't have hair anywhere". One side of his heart is completely blocked and they were not able to put a stint or balloon into it because it is too blocked. The other side is really good though and the doctor said if he keeps his cholesterol and blood pressure down he will be fine. Of course he was eating potato chips when the doctor came in. It is really scary, my dad is really healthy, he exercises and lifts weight all the time. Starting Monday, he will be on a pretty strict diet with no chips, spray butter and salt substitutions.

At least things will be okay. Hopefully he will be able to adhere to the diet. I am 29, and the doctor was able to scare me into becoming healthy.
